The Digital Evolution of an Analog Classic

Building on the legacy of Yamaha's MG Series—already established as a global standard in mixing consoles—MGX digital mixing consoles deliver a perfect blend of flexibility, performance, and premium sound quality, excelling in a versatile range of live and installed sound, podcast/live streaming, music production, and recording applications.
In addition to the essential features and versatility you expect from a professional mixer, the MGX12V also integrates an HDMI-USB audio/video interface with capture and pass-through functionality. This enables users not only to mix and output audio in a variety of ways, but also to simultaneously capture video to a PC and record or stream it together with the audio.
For content creators, sound engineers, producers, artists, and streamers—and especially for those producing podcasts with four participants—the four mic inputs and four headphone outputs, together with the ability to seamlessly integrate high-definition video into their workflow, open up new creative possibilities in a wider range of environments. In any application that involves content with both audio and video, the MGX12V will elevate your production quality and captivate your audience.

Installed Sound - Internal Online Conference

This setup integrates in-room audio sources, remote participants, and video inputs to support internal online conferences.
Audio from presenter microphones, Bluetooth audio for background music, other playback devices, and time-cue sounds triggered from the MGX sound pads—used for schedule and presentation-time management—is fed into the MGX12V and routed to the room’s monitor speakers.
Video sources via an HDMI switcher and audio from remote participants over USB are consolidated into a computer for online conferencing and streaming, while a multitrack backup is simultaneously recorded to a microSD card in the MGX12V.

Video & Audio Content Production Setup

This setup supports video and audio content production by integrating studio microphones, remote guests, playback sources, and video inputs into the MGX12V.
Audio from multiple MC microphones, USB-connected remote participants, stand microphones, Bluetooth audio, and sync tones triggered from the MGX sound pads is routed into the mixer and delivered to individual monitoring headphones.
HDMI video sources are combined with the mixed audio and sent via USB to a computer for recording in Cubase, while a simultaneous multitrack backup is captured to a microSD card in the MGX.
